About Our Service 

The Dairy Guest House was built in 1997. The hotel has historic significance and dates back to the 1920’s when it was a corner store.  This store is now the hub from where breakfasts are served and still has the original floorboards. In 2003 John Martin and his wife Susanna along with Claire and Andrew Brinsley bought the property. Both couples are long time locals and hold a strong passion for the Queenstown area. Six months later an extensive refurbishment of the hotel saw guests welcomed into a stylish lodge that reflects its superb location and distinctive character.

Your host Elspeth Zemla has been with The Dairy since 2003 and has extensive experience in tourism and hospitality

We get to know our guests, help them with bookings, onward travel and anything else that they need. Everyone loves the home baked afternoon teas and cooked breakfasts….I think they appreciate the personal touches and that “home away from home” feeling, often taking recipes away with them.
