• Back home in the UK now. Thankyou for your email. I had been intending to email you and let you know what a WONDERFUL time we had with you. Your hotel has to be one of the highlights of the holiday.  It ticks every box from location, luxury, comfort, unique, friendly, lovely breakfast etc etc.  The honesty bar in the lounge is a unique feature but clearly works.  The breakfasts were fantastic.  Matt was really welcoming on the first day as were you and it was great to get local knowledge re roads etc.  Queenstown is a fantastic place and we have been spreading the word to everyone about your fantastic hotel in a fantastic town!  Kathryn and Garry  July 2010
•  We arrived in The Dairy after 10 days in OZ staying in various luxury hotels, and it was so refreshing to stay somewhere with such a warm, welcoming and homely feel. The staff were all so friendly and it was the type of place where you instantly feel welcome and at home. The staff were also more than helpful in booking any dinners, activities etc. If you are going to Queenstown do yourself a favour and avoid the run of the mill hotels and stay here, you won't regret it. Brian and Jean January 2010

As I said to you when we met, really felt comfortable and at home and was just what I needed for my last night in NZ after a long trip. • Queenstown is quite remarkable in it's own right .. but The Dairy manages to accentuate that point even further! Just returned from an amazing 5 night stay at The Dairy in Queenstown, NZ. The Dairy was the perfect beginning and end (with an occasional mid-day stop for afternoon tea) during our stay in Queenstown. The Dairy is conveniently located in town with transportation and amenities just steps outside the door. The surroundings are breathtaking, the staff is friendly and extremely helpful, and the bed is heavenly. The Dairy provides all the modern luxuries travelers are seeking - without the stuffiness of a luxury hotel. The home-cooked breakfasts and afternoon tea were delicious (Elspeth's scrambled eggs are sinful and the berry pancakes are out of this world). Elspeth also bakes a mean date square : ) Ask her to bake a batch while you're there! The warm fire and mulled wine in the late afternoon were a warm welcome after an active day on the slopes! Elspeth, Bernie and staff manage the Dairy perfectly - their attention to detail is five star. They ensure your stay in Queenstown will be one to remember.
