Location

The Dairy is located just a minute’s walk from Queenstown and is yet private and quiet. Slightly elevated, there are good views of the town and an easy stroll to the shops and many restaurants.
Ski transport is close at hand as is the office for the Milford and Routeburn walks making it easy for you to start your journey whether skiing or hiking!

Food and Wine

Queenstown has a compact and cosmopolitan downtown area tucked into a picturesque bay on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. There’s a permanent buzz in the downtown area where you’ll find a lively café/bar scene and excellent shopping. The ultimate in taste sensations, there are more than 150 great eateries to choose from in Queenstown and Arrowtown, not counting the winery restaurants between Lake Hayes and Gibbston.

And of course sampling a decadent drop or two of one of Central Otago's wonderful award winning wines will provide the finishing touch to a heavenly dining experience.

Shopping

Big brand high street shops share the sidewalks with locally run boutiques in Queenstown's compact shopping area where you’ll find international labels alongside the best in New Zealand designs. Shops are open all day and much of the evening, 365 days of the year. Getting around the downtown area is best by foot.

Queenstown is arguably the best place in the world to buy traditional wool and sheepskin clothing and indigenous Pounamu (greenstone). Specialist adventure outfitting stores are a real treat, selling skis, snowboards, kayaks, mountaineering gear and associated clothing.

In Arrowtown you’ll find a unique shopping atmosphere along historic Buckingham Street with boutiques and speciality stores.

If having an unbeatable list of activities isn't enough, any one of the wide range of events on offer in this region could prove an irresistible attraction.
